"Awkward Plants in Awkward Pots" is a series of ongoing artworks which explore the themes of self image and growth. These hand woven and embroidered textile pieces use imagined wonky botanical shapes and lopsided vessels to explore feelings about my work and my self through life transitions and changes. These house plants celebrate the awkward stages of growth, nurturing and sometimes just simply existing.
